My research interests have been focused in understanding the factors influencing the abundance and distribution of sandy beach organisms, including biological and physical factors. During the last years, my research interest has been focused to understand how the human activity (e.g. Ocean Acidificaction, Artificial Light Pollution) affects abundance, distribution and fitness of coastal marine organisms. My research aims to better understand the natural history of our coastal habitats and the impact of different sources of disturbance on these habitats.
